A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a contracted assignment providing leave coverage in K-12 schools located near Bethlehem and Allentown, PA. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support students communication development in elementary school settings during a focused, short-term period from January through March 2026.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Teaching Certificate required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings (K-12)
- Flexibility to work across multiple elementary schools within the district
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, educators, and families
Location:
- Schools located in Bethlehem and Allentown, Pennsylvania
- Assignment involves coverage across two elementary schools
- Flexible district schedule, with weekly hours ranging from 25 to 37.5 hours
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidenced-based speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Complete required documentation and reporting to ensure compliance with school and state regulations
- Provide therapeutic interventions to promote communication skills including articulation, fluency, language processing, and voice
Work Schedule:
- Contract position from January to March 2026
- Hours: 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday through Friday, with flexibility in weekly hours
